The use of heat in the role of the removal and treatment of unwanted substances, including biological germs and viruses has been scientifically measured and demonstrated in studies sponsored by divisions of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Air Quality Sciences, Airmid Health Group, and others between 1991 and 2014. Measured reductions in biological contaminants can be clearly demonstrated in carpets, textiles, upholstery, and hard surface floors after the use of high performance truckmounted cleaning equipment that can maintain temperature across the surfaces being cleaned of 160 degrees+ F. We have some of the largest truckmounted units designed to reach farther up into the building so in order to keep these temperatures while the operators draw water during the extraction. Hence the term hot water extraction. Cheap portable units cannot achieve this or hold this temperature. This is a big advantage for Bock’s Steam Star. We do have high performance portables that produce heat. We can reach any floor if need be for all surfaces we clean. Many janitorial companies will claim to have portable extractors but do they produce heat? Are they High performance extractors? Do they recycle the water? Are the operators trained or certified by the IICRC? Our training allows us to compensate in other areas of soil suspension to still achieve effective cleaning even with some reduction of heat.

No Contact Service
- Social Distance: If you are at home during the time of service, technicians will maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from customers at all times. However, it is recommended that cleaning be scheduled when you can leave the house. If you must be home, we recommend staying in a separate part of the house while cleaning is performed.
- Barriers: Technicians will wear gloves and shoe protection at all times.
- Payments: Payment by credit card, if required, will be collected over the phone.
Their 10-Step Cleaning Process meets IICRC cleaning standards and ensures that you'll be satisfied with the results. And if you're not 100% satisfied with their work they'll do the job again.
Value Cleaning System - 10-Step Cleaning Process
Step 1: HEPA vacuum carpet to remove dry soils that damage carpet fiber.
Step 2: Pre/post spotting.
Step 3: Carpets with heavy soiled areas will be preconditioned with natural specialty solutions designed to suspend oils and soils.
Step 4: Agitate carpet with carpet groomer or Rotary Jet Extractor to lift and separate matted fibers in addition to even distribution of detergents.
Step 5: Soil and residue extraction with low moisture unit that contains specialty rinsing agents or emulsifiers that are recommended for stain resistant carpets in addition to wool and special fibers.
Step 6: Application of fabric softener (neutralizer) to remove detergent residue according to the manufacturer specification, leaving fibers soft and stabilizing the dyes.
Step 7: Pile setting and grooming of carpet.
Step 8: Block and tab all furniture that was moved. Note: we do not move beds, electronics, large heavy furniture, pianos and antiques.
Step 9: Use of high velocity air mover with cooperation of the customer to minimize dry time.
Step 10: Post Inspection walk through. We're not satisfied until you are!
